Hi

Disc 8 of my complete 14 DVD boxed set has a blemish and the screen picture is corrupted through the end of episode "Brain before Brawn" and the start of "Brush with the Law". I have tried cleaning the disc but think it's something permanent. The set was a gift and it seems silly to send the whole set back, as the previous discs have been fine and the remainder appear fine too.

I wonder if anyone else has tried returning a single disk to "2 Entertain" who appear to have produced the set

I would think that if you contacted them they would be happy for just the fault DVD to go back.  Although they may say send the whole box set back.

If you say it was a gift I would think they'd honour that and it should be okay to just swap.

Well I was advised by the BBC to contact 2 Entertain who produced the set, and they in turn suggested I return the faulty disc to:

Attn DVD support
2 entertain
33 Foley Street
LONDON W1W 7TL
020 7612 3000

Sent it off yesterday, I'll keep you posted

Sounds like the best solution.  That way you get to keep all the other DVD's whilst you wait for the replacement.

2 Entertain seem like a good company to me, and all the stuff they release seems to be well produced, so I think they'll send you a replacement pretty quick.

Indeed, and confirmed by the arrival this morning of a replacement disc 8. Excellent service.

Well done 2 Entertain !

That's a very quick turnaround!

That's great news - knowing that if it happens to us, 2 Entertain will get a replacement sent out quickly.

Glad you've got your copy again!
