You are right. Potaketl very kindly posted this on her "My Dads Army Video" thread in the "DADS ARMY CHAT" room.

Still, many thanks for inspiring me to view it again Novelty Rock Emporium!

I still can't get over the fact he was bayonetted twice!

I've got the beginning of this video where all the main Dad's Army cast line up in full 'battle dress' on a railway station to surprise Arnold Ridley with the programme host. Poor man looks exceptionally confused!

If anybody fancies seeing this bit I'll stick it up on YouTube myself, it's quite good for novelty value alone in seeing the actors led by Arthur Lowe 'out of character' yet still adopting Mainwaring's powers of leadership.

That was marvellous, the Thames TV & the This Is Your... themes took me straight back to my childhood! Shame he didn't ask Eamon if he could be excused...
