Having just watched this episode again i noticed that when Wilson is discusing with Mainwaring about being lost on the station platform, if you look closely you can see that wilsons rifle has no trigger, just a trigger guard. The same can be seen when Jones is doing his dont panic bit after they are attacked on the way to the camp, it must be that these were drill rifles or bbc mock ups hence no fore-sights either.

My son also pointed out that if you watch the 2 soldiers who cart off mainwaring one of them falls over just as they get to the bushes(watch his feet) and how does Manwaring get his cap back when he has lost it in the attack? Confused
