Hi everyone

Following several requests from listeners, this weekend, the entire podcast team will be recording a round table discussion about the sometimes controversial 1971 Dad's Army movie. I have great pleasure in announcing that Frank Williams, (the Reverend Timothy Farthing) will be joining us for what promises to be a very entertaining and lively discussion. If you have comments about the movie in general, or have any questions you like us to put to Frank then please either post them here, or send them to me at james@dadsarmypodcast.com by 6:00pm Friday 20 February (GMT) and I'll do my best to include them in the podcast.

The recording will make up all of Episode 33 of the podcast and is likely to be on-line mid to late March 2009. I'll let you all know when it's on-line and ready to listen to.

Warmest Regards,

James

Hi all

Glad to report that the recording with Frank Williams took place last month - and I have finally got around to editing it. It will be on-line this evening (or tomorrow evening at the latest) at www.dadsarmy.podomatic.com and features Frank at his most informative and entertaining.

The whole podcast team were present for this one, and we all felt really honoured to spend an afternoon watching the Dad's Army Movie with Frank (it was particularly stange to watch Frank watching himself on TV!) and to then have had such a fun discussion with him afterwards.

Hope you all enjoy this one - I am patricularly proud of the way this one has turned out.

Please let us know what you think if you get a chance to have a listen - either here or email me at james@dadsarmypodcast.com

James

Hi James,

Another cracker episode and fantastic to have Frank Williams on board.

He really is a gentleman and all round good bloke.

I enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks to you (and all involved) in bringing it to us.

Cheers,

Paul.
