I have been enjoying this comic graphic novel by Paul Grist

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jack-Staf...oks&qid=1220383250&sr=8-1

It's excellent as it is a British superhero but pays homage to British culture throughout including  comic characters of the 50s-70's (The Claw, The Spider, kellys Eye) and TV. A very thinly disguised Steptoe & Son show up as Vampire hunters !

Anyway in Chapter 1 Our favourite platoon put in a cameo and Godfrey correctly diagnoses that a woman died of unnatural causes rather than the from the bomb that destroyed her house. It all sounds a bit bizarre perhaps, but I though it very good.
