This is one of my favoriter episodes. I love it when the platoon are being introduced to the American Captain and Frazer launches into his long Speech by Robbie Burnes. The Captain then replies to Mainwaring saying " You sure have an international unit here", it cracks me up every time I watch it!

I like the "Wait! I'm nae finished yet." bit when he then launches into his grand finale, wonderful.

I'm eternally indebted to elizabeth for not paying her £50 grocery bill in high finance - and thus producing my favourite radio episode (as I think we all know by now).

I loved the bit in 'My British Buddy' when Pike says "I chased him round the table until Mr Godfrey hit him on the head with a chair."
