Heyyy
this is my first post, I'm Sarah Smile
I wondered if anyone knew anything about the show Romany Jones, because I can't find any dvds or clips on the internet of it, and I wanted to see James Beck in it, because he is one of my favourite actors, he was fab in Dads Army

Hi Sarah, I cannot help you with Romany Jones but James Beck gave a fantastic performance in "the Blue carbuncle" from the BBC Sherlock Holmes series, with Peter Cushing. Some of the other episodes are not  that good, largely down to budget, but "Blue" is very good, the best of the 6 episodes, largely down to James performance

I remember Romany Jones from  my childhood. Queenie Watts and Arthur Mullard sat in a caravan. Queenie was sharp tongued, as I remember. Much like she was in a Dad's Army episode I watched the other day - the one where she was a canteen assistant having a go at Sergeant Wilson for not taking his tray back.
