I have just found out that tomorrow morning (8am BST), Friday 13th July 2007, the forum hosts are carrying out an upgrade of the server where the forum is located. Although the forum won't need to be shut down during the upgrade, it could run slowly afterwards until they reinstall the caching system. Hopefully, this will be as short a time as possible.

As Sergeant Wilson would say "do you think that's wise?" to carry out such upgrades on a Friday the 13th......?
