40th Anniversary Event in Central LondonIs there a date set yet for the 40th Anniversary Event in Central London?I want to get flights & hotel booked asap.Never been to an event before and really would like to make this one. |

40th AnniversaryThe only event that I am aware of is the event mentioned in the Dads Army Appreciation Society's latest magazine, and I believe space will be limited to a specific number of members. Details in the mag are vague at the moment as I guess the event has yet to be completely finalised. No date is specified, but it is mentioned that it is planned to take place on a weekday - presumably as it's easier to attract media attention for events such as this during the week.Perhaps you could contact DAAS - their website is www.dadsarmy.co.uk and their e-mail is info@dadsarmy.co.uk I am certain however, that the Beeb will mark the anniversary in their own way....
