Arthur LoweHi I'm new here.
I just adore Dad's Army and my fav. character is Capt. Mainwaring.
Pompous or not (how you look at it) he was dependable and kept his word.
I love his facial expressions and his no nonsense attitude. Superb acting.
Does Arthur Lowe remind you of any other actor.?
He is in a class on its own. but sometimes glimpses of his acting reminds me of Alan RICKMAN.
I cant get enough of Dads Army and I already have 5 dvds. Am trying to get the complete box set.
