Series 9Hi all,
At last, I got my copy of series #9 completing my BBC DVD collection.
I am especially excited as after 10 years of collecting Dads Army Videos, Books, DVD's etc there has been one episode that for one reason or another has eluded me.
Yes, after watching DA since I was 9, (born in 1960) and being a avid collector of everything DA related since 1998, until yesterday I had never seen the episode "Number Engaged'.
Not a particulaly good episode but a rare treat for me anyway.!
Of all the BBC videos and DVD's over the years, this one episode seems to have been overlooked, and I have a LOT of BBC video releases.
I feel now feel 'complete' !!!
Cheers,
Paul.

Series 9 is like an old friend! Not as young or sprightly as they were but because of what you've been through you feel like it's all good.
Series 9 had some great episodes (especially the first one) but it wasn't the best they'd done. Still I enjoyed every single episode. Wouldn't want to be without it!
Number Engaged was ok (not the best, but ok)

Yes,
I am fond of this series too.
'Misers Hoard' is particulaly good as is 'Wake up Walmington'.
I have all of series #9 on VHS (except Number Engaged) but I don't have a video recorder anymore so I couldn't even watch them until now. That's been 2 years!!!
Cheers,
Paul.
