According to the Eastern Daily Press today, some of the Cast and Writers from the series will be appearing this weekend. This is home to the Fire Engine and Steam Roller used in the programme and for those that can get there, it truly is worth a visit. At the same time, I am sorry for those of you who for various reasons, can't make it at any time. I have other arrangements for this weekend, but having read it is now an annual event, I will try to go next year and by which time I should be living nearer to it.
I apologise for the darkness of the picture, but below is 'Jones' shop as seen at Bressingham when I last visited there.
It was naturally dark in there and I used a flash even though it doesn't appear so. _________________ Stand by your beds.

On a recent business trip to Norwich - see other post somewhere - I called in at Bressingham. I deliberately didn't visit the DA museum - saving that for hols in August with the family. But I did look in at the shop and was pleased to find several copies of "The Dad's Army Companion" - only place I've ever seen it on sale, so I purchased a copy. "You do realise it's £15?" said the lady on the till as she picked it up.
Actually, for the quality of the colour photographs throughout and the in-depth descriptions, I thought it was a very fair price.
PS does anyone else find the pricing options for the different displays at Bressingham extraordinarily confusing?
